The event will include the DASSH AGM, the national meeting for the Network of Associate Deans (Teaching & Learning) and the Network of Associate Deans (Research). Members can expect robust discussions around such topical items as the impact of Excellence in Research for Australia, base funding in an uncapped system, UK changes and TEQSA's progress.
Another highlight will include an exclusive viewing of the National Portrait Gallery before the main conference dinner. Delegates can spend time viewing the 400 portriats of people who have shaped Australia and who continue to shape our nation.
While you are in Canberra you may also consider staying on and visiting Floriade, a celebration of Spring, starting on 15 September. Make sure to save the date 13-14 September 2012. More details will follow shortly.
