The 2011 Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held at the DASSH Conference on 29th September at Peppers Blue on Blue, Magnetic Island, Queensland. Members elected the following new executive board:
Professor Krishna Sen, President Professor John Germov, Vice-President Professor Toni Makkai, Secretary
Professor Pal Ahluwalia and Professor Majella Franzman were re-elected as board members. Professor Jennifer Radbourne, retired from her position at Deakin University and stepped down as DASSH President. Professor John Simons remains as Treasurer, with Professor Susan Dodds and Professor Deborah Willis remaining as Board Members. Special Resolution A special resolution of Council was passed with revisions made to the current constitution. Changes include clarification of paid membership and attached voting rights, provisions to raise fees in line with CPI, revision to board membership and revised election procedures to allow for the option of online elections prior to the AGM.
