Collaborative And Structural Reform funded projectInnovative approaches to the provision of Languages other than English in Australian Higher EducationOverviewDASSH has been awarded funds from the Collaborative and Structural Reform Fund (CASR) to undertake a national project on languages in the Australian higher education sector. The aim of the project is to identify a range of innovative, cost efficient and pedagogically appropriate models for the provision of languages other than English (LOTE). This will be achieved through identifying successful, (components of), existing models, nationally and internationally; and new and innovative modes of LOTE delivery. The project is to trial selected models in individual universities, and consortia of universities and to evaluate the feasibility of transferability across the Australian higher education sector. As a collaborative project with DASSH the project is guaranteed access to all universities in Australia. Contact the ProjectOn this site you will find descriptions of the CASR project, the Collaborative Models developed for trialling and the six (6) national trials.
