The Bachelor of Arts (BA) Scoping Project focuses on the nature and roles of arts degrees in contemporary society in Australia. Project aims
The original BA Scoping project proposal was endorsed by DASSH members at the September 2007 annual conference and its progress monitored by a steering committee comprising of DASSH members and executive. The project gathered evidence to be used by decision makers across the sector to optimise future curriculum development of the Bachelor of Arts in university education. The BA scoping project was completed on 30 July, 2008 with data currently being updated for the period up until the end of 2011. Final Reports
The Australian Learning and Teaching Council Ltd (a former initiative of the Australian Government Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations) funded this project via a Discipline-Based Initiative Grant. The views expressed in this publication do not necessarily reflect the views of the Department.
